Welcome to the home of Gwastod Pedigree Charolais Cattle. Gwastod is an 90 ha grassland farm situated in the picturesque vale of Aeron.

Up until 2006 the farm was stocked with dairy cattle, milking an average of 100 cattle. For 35 years my father has used Charolais Bulls over the Black and white Freisians, producing endless quality calves from historic bulls such as, Tatenhall Impeccable, MMB Apollon, Tatenhall Hubolt etc.

The Gwastod herd of pedigree Charolais was successfully founded back in 2010 by myself after graduating from Aberystywth University. Charolais cattle were introduced to Gwastod as a new venture to compliment the commercial suckler herd. The future aim ise to phase out the commercial herd and establish a full pedigree herd.

The main aim is to breed females with great length, locomotion and docility as well as bulls suited for the modern commercial and pedigree beef sector.

The Williams family welcome you to our website and look forward to hearing from you soon.
